PLC Integration Stops Fire in Its Tracks

A massive fire appears on one of your conveyors from a lithium ion battery (LiB). What do you do? Panic?

This customer didn't need to worry because thanks to our PLC integration with the belt system, we were able to stop the fire in its tracks. With regions drawn along the belt running area, we set up a protocol that triggered a PLC full-stop in the event that an emergency temperature threshold was exceeded within the region.

In the video below, you can see the fire start , accelerate rapidly, and then the belt magically stops.
